About this fellowship

The Nieman Foundation and Harvard's Berkman Klein Center jointly offer a fellowship year for people working on a research project about journalism's digital future. You apply through the standard Nieman application, which asks for two essays, a professional profile, a study proposal, work samples and three letters of recommendation. Your proposal needs to show how the project could affect journalism more widely. International applicants apply by 1 December; the US route closes on 31 January.
